New Delhi: On Sunday, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh emphasized his duty to collaborate with the armed forces to deliver a "fitting response" to any threats against India, particularly in light of the recent terror attack in Pahalgam.
Speaking at an event in Delhi, Singh highlighted the public's familiarity with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership style, noting his determination and willingness to take calculated risks.
"I assure you that under Prime Minister Modi's guidance, your aspirations will be realized," stated the senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
His comments come as India considers potential retaliatory actions against Pakistan following the April 22 Pahalgam attack, which resulted in the deaths of 26 individuals, primarily tourists.
"As the defence minister, I am committed to working alongside our soldiers to safeguard our nation's borders. It is my duty to ensure a strong response to those who threaten our country," Singh affirmed.
